Fantastic tour! Dylan the pilot was great - skilful, informative and amusing. The Las Vegas pickup and return worked really well too. Great views of the canyon, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Highly recommended.

Lifting off into the desert, then the fantastic aerial views of the Hoover Dam & Lake Meade. The sheer scale of the desert & Lake Meade is awesome, and then the Grand Canyon itself beats all of that - it is huge… Good Morning Vietnam soundtrack was great !

We were in vegas for our wedding and we wanted something spectacular to do the day after so we decided to book and go on a Helecopter to see the Gran Canyon, WOW is all I can say from start to finish the experience was electric, the staff at Papillon were brilliant and the pilot who had only been with the company for 4 weeks was a credit to them! Thank you for making our trip so amazing!! Can’t wait to come back and do it all again!!

The middle seats have very poor visibility, and they have the same price as the others. The views from the front of the helicopter are said to be beautiful, but I have not have chance to seen them. I really didn't have the opportunity to admire the view, especially since I was surrounded by strangers, so leaning out to see something wasn't an option. Organizationally, everything is very good.

The helicopter itself was a fantastic experience. We really enjoyed seeing the views and the pilot was super friendly... However the organisation was terrible. Right from our booking (which was months in advance of the tour) we were told that we needed to pay extra to move the time we selected to a 'prime time' slot. This was changed again the week before our tour to a different time. On the day of our tour we should have been picked up from the west rim at 3:30 and was told to not leave the pilot waiting. It was 4:30 by the time he arrived to pick us up. The pilot admitted this was due to the company prioritising giving people lifts to the floor of the canyon. This was extremely frustrating as we didn't end up leaving until the time we originally booked (which we shouldn't have paid extra for) After waiting around for another random group to be driven back to Las Vegas we were met with an unpleasant woman who was swerving all over the road and blasting out rap music. If you have shows or extra activities booked in the evening do not book with this company as you are likely to miss them!! What makes this even more frustrating is that I sent a polite email requesting a refund for the extra we were made to pay for this so called 'prime slot' to try and avoid shaming them in public and have had zero response. Disappointing and disrespectful.

We had a great helo flight over Hoover Dam and then out to the west rim of the Grand Canyons. We had Dylan as our pilot and he was fantastic.
