What to expect
Starbucks
One of only three Starbucks Reserve locations in the US, start your tour off with a warm cup of coffee.
Winter Garden
Take in the natural light and beautiful architecture of the atrium at Winter Garden. The atrium was all but destroyed in the 9/11 attacks, and reconstruction cost an estimated $50 million.
Irish Hunger Memorial
Many of those who died in the September 11 attacks were of Irish-American descent. View this memorial to those who faced hardship during the Irish Famine of the 19th century.
9/11 Memorial Pools
Designed by an architect who witnessed the attacks firsthand, take a moment to reflect at this memorial that was meant to symbolize "absence made visible".
The Sphere
Originally built between 1967 and 1971, this sculpture was damaged in the 9/11 attacks, and was repaired and relocated close to its original location.
9/11 Memorial & Museum
This museum houses artifacts and exhibits that truly illustrate the physical toll caused by the attacks, and illuminates the resilience of New Yorkers in its aftermath. Plan to return on your own time, as a complete visit to the museum will take several hours.
PATH Time Capsule
Designed to symbolize a dove taking flight, this is the entrance of the WTC subway.
St. Paul's Chapel
In the aftermath of the attacks, this chapel was miraculously still standing, and was a hub for volunteers and first responders in the weeks following that fateful day.
