What to expect
Plaza Porlier (in front of the sculpture of "The Traveler"). Look for the green umbrella!
Did you know that the Camino de Santiago began here? Under the statue of the Asturian king Alfonso II we will discover who "invented" him and, after that, we will walk along Calle del Águila to the Academia de la Llingua Asturiana, where we will teach you some Asturian expressions.
Do you like folixa? Well, this place has a lot to do with the Field Tuesday festival and the famous bollu preñáu.
Plaza Trascorrales
Sardineeees! Hake! Centollu! Mouth you! The old fish market has some surprises in store for us.
Parroquia de San Isidoro El Real
Of baroque origin, it is one of the most beautiful temples in Oviedo. But it hides some secrets that we will reveal during our tour.
In this square we will learn about its past as a popular theater and current relationship with the world of cider.
This square hosts some popular festivals, such as L'Antroxo (the traditional carnival) or the prima dance.
One of the most beautiful town hall houses in Spain, beneath its façade it still preserves the arch of the Puerta de Cimavilla, a vestige of its old medieval wall.
Plaza de Alfonso II el Casto
After discovering the Romanesque tower of the cathedral, we will finish to see the Gothic part of the cathedral of El Salvador.
Plaza Trascorrales
The old fish market. This is one of the most photographed squares in Oviedo.
We will see some pre-Romanesque remains from the reign of the Asturian king Alfonso II.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
