    Great kayaking trip around Kardamyli, I couldn't recommend it more. Roque taught me everything I needed to know about kayaking and ensure I was moving correctly. He gave me many tips to improve my techniques. The tour itself is fun and relaxing and you visit an amazing cave in the beach nearby. Also the picnic was great with the best local products. Roque made everything fun and kept our group safe. I really recommend this tour if you want to see the Mani coast from the sea and have lots of fun.

    My wife and I were in Greece and had someone book a hiking trip and kayaking trip for us. We did not know anything about Explore Messinia. We are so glad we booked the trips because the hiking and the kayaking were some of the best parts of our trip. Fotis took us on a hike in Kardamyli. It is a great hike through the hills and through little villages along the way. We had lunch in the most beautiful spot facing the snow capped mountains. His lunch was the ultimate Greek lunch with fresh vegetables, bread and olive oil, cheese, olives, all sprinkled with his secret ingredients of sea salt and oregano. He is a life long resident of the area so he is the ultimate animator, bringing the hills to life with his stories of history and his real life experiences harvesting the olive trees. If we had another day we would have booked another hike with him. Instead we had a trip with another person in the family business, Giorgos his cousin and his colleague George. Their first priority was to make sure we had fun. Their experience showed through at every turn as they guided us on the shores of the Gulf, giving tips on appropriate technique and safety, along with interesting stories about the culture and the sea. The lunch was as good as what Fotis put together with his own twists of fruit and cheese. I cannot say enough good things about Explore Messinia. Instead of treating us like customers, they treated us like friends and family. When we go back, we will definitely plan a trip with Explore Messinia.

    My husband and I spent the morning with Trifonas hiking up and out of Kardamyli having no idea what we were in for. Spectacular experience! The hike was challenging but enjoyable. The walk through the hilltop villages were intriguing and a wonderful way to meet locals and enjoy Greek hospitality. The classic Greek meal after we were done was the best- I can still taste the fresh cucumbers and tomatoes with olive oil and bread. Yum!! Totally inspired us to return for more hiking in the Mani Peninsula! Thank you Trifonas and Explore Messinia for a GREAT experience!!

    This hike with Fotis in Kardamily was a sporting and cultural experience, with breathtaking landscapes, old stones, small and varied paths, olive fields, chapels, small local stories and the great history of the country , all told with humor by our guide.

    Beautiful hike under a blue sky and big sun, led by a very friendly, attentive guide, and sharing all his historical, botanical knowledge with kindness. we were able to appreciate the beauty of the site and ... share a beer after 4 hours walking. Especially drinking a lot, to be expected.
