    There was no access to non-public places such as college courtyards. We mostly stood along busy streets and tried to hear the guide.

    Rebecca was a pleasure. She has a wealth of knowledge concerning the shows, the actors, even specific episodes to place you in the reality of Oxford murder series. The experience was everything we hoped to get. Well worth the time and value.

    Mr. Alistair was an expert on the entire history on the inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour television series. His insightful nuggets of information were kindly and respectfully imparted to us, the 12 members of the tour. Alistair was a student at Oxford during the time in which the fictional Morse had attended St. John’s College. The two hour tour included two short rests inside St. John’s Chapel and the Saint Mary the Virgin Church. We now are motivated to read the genesis books on Inspector Morse written by the Cambridge-educated Colin Dexter who had moved to Oxford and lived here for 40 years. The story of the stunt man who had to repeat the scene ten or more times of falling out of a college window onto a trampoline below was humorously recounted. Thank you Alistair!

    Our tour guide, Leigh was a knowledgeable and interesting guide to the areas of Oxford that pertain to the Inspector Morse TV series. As a retired teacher, I could appreciate her well thought out manner of presenting how these elements appeared in the Morse-Lewis-Endeavor series. We are from the US, and when we got home, we began re-watching Inspector Morse. We were able to spot many of the scenes Leigh referred us to during her presentation, which added to our enjoyment. As a history buff, I am happy to report that all of her background material was spot on in accuracy. All in all, a very enjoyable experience provided by a talented guide. Money well spent!
