You will hear the songs and the stories of the people who forged this great nation and provided the inspiration behind the books by author Diana Gabaldon. We will talk about an infamous prison where Jacobites were incarcerated and hung, the Tollbooth. We will pass Parliament house, see the Writer's Museum, walk Victoria Street to the Grassmarket, a place of execution and see the covenanter's memorial and walk up to Greyfriars cemetery where we will continue sharing stories of botched hangings, graverobbers, serial killers and meet the most famous dog in the world, Greyfriars Bobby. All this and more awaits you so book now
Royal Mile

Cowgate
During the 19th Century the Cowgate was a slum and a place of poverty and foul play, it is home to the South Bridge, Edinburgh's most notorious structure and considered as the most haunted place in Europe except for the French Catacombs.
