Best excursion of our week long trip to Alaska! Sid was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable!! She took us to see bears (they weren't out), to the beach where we saw jellyfish, crabs, bald eagles, quartz, and learned about kelp and how they make pickles and salsa with them. She took us to a beautiful waterfall where she picked blueberries and salmon berries for us to try. Then we went to the totem park, where she shared her extensive knowledge with us. She even emailed me a PDF she created about the totem poles. She climbed down the rocks to find a starfish for my kids to hold. She even played an Alaskan lullaby using her family's drum while we sat in the clan house at the totem park. Then she dropped us off downtown so we could shop after giving us the scoop about which shops actually have authentic goods. Small, Alaskan owned company with staff who are locals and actually know what they are talking about! I cannot recommend this tour enough, it was absolutely incredible!!!!

Seeing the bears and eagles. Caroline our guide was very knowledgeable and took us to see the bears. She made our trip very special and memorable. I would highly recommend Caroline. We also visited the totem poles which she explained the history which was very interesting. We all loved our tour of Ketchikan.

I have been using Viator for years! By far, this was the BEST tour I have ever taken! We were blessed to be with the owners. They did a fabulous job! Extremely knowledgable and proud of their heritage and land. They showed us the area, but more importantly, they took us to places they call home. We saw bears in action, bears catching their salmon, we saw eagles, we went to see totem poles, and we finished off with some beverages at a local watering hole with fabulous views. Without a doubt, BOOK THIS TOUR!!! You will regret not booking it .

It was a fabulous tour. Our guides were the owners as they nicely had given their other employees the day off for 4th of July. All the guides live in Ketchikan and are very knowledgeable. We drove all over and learned about the town, totem poles, the different tribes and so much more. We saw dozens of eagles soaring over us. The high school basketball team flies to go play their games. I highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful time on our Private Tour! Traveled with my parents, husband, and two preteen/teen kids. We lucked out and had Kevin, the owner, as our guide. As a native to the area he had many stories and information to share. He had sent me a text the day before with pictures of their vans to make it easier to find them and then since I had his number I was able to easily change our pick-up location as we decided to do some shopping in town before the tour. He asked what we wanted to see and then drove us around to a few areas. We were able to see the totem poles at Bight State Historical Park, several Eagles and other wildlife, and even spotted a bear before we headed back to town. He had a great sense of humor and made the tour a lot of fun!

Sid was an awesome tour guide! She was very accommodating and made it fun for everyone - from age 4 to 77. She is very knowledgeable about the area and history, so we learned a lot while seeing the local sights. Thanks, Sid!

My family & I enjoyed our tour with Lloyd. He was very accommodating to my brother who needed assistance & took his time to explain things in great detail about the heritage and history of Ketchikan. Had fun learning about different totem poles and what each one represents. Enjoyed seeing the nature and wildlife along the way.

On other trips, we’ve really enjoyed opportunities to explore with local guides. Melissa and Kevin were no exception. Their tour was one of the highlights of our trip for everyone in our party. It was so wonderful getting out of the main touristy area to explore and enjoy the beautiful nature in Ketchikan. They are both incredibly warm, great storytellers, and were generous with their knowledge about the Ketchikan community and their culture. We had one of the most incredible sunny days and were greeted by numerous eagles. Melissa and Kevin were extremely conscientious about time since it was the Fourth of July and made sure we were back in time to avoid road closures.

Caroline arrived promptly to collect us from the ship. We only had a few hours in Ketchikan so this tour was ideal. She had lovely stories about her native ancestors and gave us a great feel for life in Ketchikan. She tailored the tour to fit in with our mixed mobility group and took some lovely pictures of us all.

Caroline picked us from the Cruise ship and took us on a lovely tour. She had some very interesting stories to share about her native roots and she tailored the tour to meet our mixed group with varying mobility. She also provided a photography service ensuring we have lovely memories of our trip.
