What to expect
Cimetiere Americain de Colleville-sur-Mer
After a presentation by your guide of the history of the temporary cemeteries, installed on the beach of Omaha Beach and the creation of this permanent American cemetery, you can mourn the thousands of white crosses of this place, borrowed from solemnity.
Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer
The passage to Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer will be marked in two stages. The first will give you the opportunity to visit the Easy Red sector at the foot of the American cemetery to understand the landing operations of the 1st American Infantry Division. The second time will be in front of the monument "Les braves" for a moment more turned towards reflection.
Vierville-sur-Mer
At the western end of Omaha Beach, Vierville-sur-Mer will present itself to you, in front of the rare remains of the artificial American port. From the operations conducted on the beach on the morning of June 6, by the Rangers and the 29th American Infantry Division, to the creation of this port, Vierville-sur-Mer will have no secrets for you.
Pointe du Hoc is one of the emblematic sites of June 6, 1944. Your guide will introduce you to the assault of the Rangers whose mission was to take and destroy the guns installed at the point. Amid the bunkers and craters, you will become aware of the power of the fighting that took place there in 1944.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
