What to expect
Hoover Dam
The Hoover Dam is a remarkable feat of engineering located on the border of Nevada and Arizona, USA, spanning the Colorado River in the Black Canyon. Constructed during the Great Depression, it was completed in 1936 and stands as a testament to American ingenuity and perseverance. The dam is 726 feet tall and 1,244 feet long, creating Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States by volume when at full capacity. The dam's primary purpose is to provide hydroelectric power, water supply, and flood control, making it a vital infrastructure project in the region. Its art deco design and sheer size make it a popular tourist attraction, drawing millions of visitors each year.
Grand Canyon Skywalk
The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a glass-bottomed horseshoe-shaped bridge that extends out over the edge of the Grand Canyon's West Rim. It offers visitors a thrilling and unique perspective of the canyon, allowing them to see straight down to the canyon floor, approximately 4,000 feet below. The Skywalk is located on the Hualapai Indian Reservation and is a popular tourist attraction, offering breathtaking views of the canyon and Colorado River below. Visitors can walk out onto the transparent glass platform and experience the sensation of floating above one of the world's most awe-inspiring natural wonders.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
