Our tour guide gave a very nuanced, historically accurate description of life on the plantation, from the plantation owners to the enslaved people. Learned more here than I ever did in school

Very informative tour - All guides were great. Except arrived late for our tour at Laura Plantation to meet our guide there. And no information that you could get food and drink at Oak Alley Plantation at the stop for 45 minutes. That was in our opinion essential information, as no food at Laura Plantation. Otherwise thanks to all involved, in giving us this trip.

We did the Laura Plantation tour with transportation from Crescent City tours. The Laura Plantation tour itself was just ok, but Crescent City Tours doesn't actually do that tour for you, they just take you do the plantation and the plantation has their own tour guides. The transportation from Crescent City tours was ok. They picked us up at our hotel via a medium sized bus. After picking a few other people up at different hotels, it was about an hour drive to the plantation. The driver was nice and 'somewhat' funny; it was nice that he gave us informative information on the city and places we were passing along the way, so the ride wasn't boring. We were dropped off at our plantation and then picked up about 2 hours later. After all the people were back on board, we stopped at the Oak Alley planation for a 20 min break to get food or bathroom etc. Then we stopped other people off at a swamp tour and then back to the hotel. Overall, we were picked up around 8:20am and got dropped back off around 2:30pm.

Brian was actually the star of this tour for me. Especially with the heavy nature of the tour for me personally. Overall, the plantation tour itself was just okay, but the ride to and from was a great delight!

Crescent City Tours is amazing! We had so much fun with Brian on the way to and from the Laura Plantation. He took time to show us sites along the way and was a perfect southern gentleman. We will definitely book with them the next time we visit the city.

This was absolutely my favorite tour in New Orleans. Walking through the house is like walking back in time. The grounds are beautiful and so much history! The tour guide was very good and very informative! Walking into the slave cabins was a sobering experience. I would recommend this without a doubt!!

Due to a rain storm and a lady falling our tour was very short for the price. The tour guide attended to the lady that fell. Group was left to entertain theirselves in the museum which one could tour on their own. No refund or discount was offered.
