    This tour was very scenic and superbly managed by Karis the tour guide who kept us interested with interesting historical information and lovely Irish music. Loch Lomond and the associated cruise was great. Sterling Castle was very impressive and the Sterling Castle tour guide was excellent. Aberfoyle was a lovely village and the Kelpies stop worthwhile. Highly recommended tour

    Trip leader's/driver's descriptions and stories were excellent. Her name was Karis Armour. Would suggest company arrange pickup and return locations closer to Royal mile.

    There are no photos because we were not able to make the trip because the van from Timberbush Tours was parked around a blind corner. Furthermore, we were in place exactly where the bus was indicated to be according to the Viator site - not 50 yards (or 46 meters) from where the van actually parked. We asked several people if they were waiting for the van for this trip and no one was so we knew there was a problem. I called the numbers indicated on the VIATOR site and no connection. So after many frustrating minutes (possibly 10) I found a totally separate email from Timberbush about moving the parking, This information should have been on the Viator site, attached to my reservation or even a reminder email, but NO, nothing. One email totally disassociated with Viator. I asked about a refund and the person said we were late and they don't give refunds due to our tardiness. He said he called and it went straight to voicemail which I also said I called and couldn't get through. We were in the center of the Royal Mile so poor reception was not surprising. I have no idea how many people were on this tour but if they all made it and if every single one of them is better than I regarding emails them kudos to them, but I couldn't have been more disappointed. He offered an alternative trip to St. Andrews and farm villages but we declined as we wanted to go to Stirling Castle, not a golf course. We actually did grab a train to Falkirk and Stirling and enjoyed beautiful walks along the river and had a lovely day, thanks to my undefeatable husband who would not let Timberbush ruin my trip. I will not use your site again and feel like I've learned a valuable lesson.

    Our driver and guide was a delight. This was my first time seeing the Kelpies and Sterling Castle. And of course the Highland Cows were wonderful

    Connor was absolutely fabulous as a tour guide. I would go on any tour with him again! He was very informative about the local history and seemed to be having as much fun as the rest of the tour.

    The Kelpies & The Helix

    Departing Edinburgh, we head towards our first stop of the day; the Kelpies. At 30m high, they are the largest equine sculptures in the world and depict mythical creatures from Scottish folklore.

    We stop at Balloch at Loch Lomond to give our customers the option of taking a cruise across Loch Lomond. Admission for the cruise is not included.

    Loch Lomond Shores

    For those who are not interested in taking the cruise, we stop at Loch Lomond Shores, for customers to take a leisurely walk.

    Aberfoyle VisitScotland iCentre

    We continue through the Trossachs National Park, also known as 'the Highlands in Miniature' for it's abundance of lochs, mountains and forests. It's also famous for the legendary outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor. We will spend time exploring the area before stopping for lunch in a small village immersed in its beautiful surroundings.

    Stirling Castle

    After lunch, we make our way through the town of Callander, past the medieval Doune Castle before we make our final stop of the day at Stirling Castle (optional extra). The site is one of Scotland's most historically significant fortresses, sitting high on volcanic rock and offering wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. You will have time to visit the castle and learn of the exploits of key historical figures including William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots. With lots of interesting things to see and do here, the Stirling Castle experience is a must for any visitor to Scotland. We then begin our journey homebound to Edinburgh.
