    Muriel, was the best guide I’ve come across. I made the mistake of choosing the tour in the French language. She went above and beyond by choosing to do the same tour in English three hours later. The knowledge she has of the people who inhabited the French quarter was extensive.

    I cannot recommend Lawson's Creole French Quarter tour highly enough. After the tour, I saw the "Vieux Carre" in a whole new light and learned so much about the city's diverse populations. Take this tour and early on in your trip if you can!

    Lawson was a fantastic tour guide! He is so knowledgeable about New Orleans history, culture and geography. We did the tour in French as my husband grew up in France. Would definitely recommend, it was the perfect amount of time and we leaned so much!! Next time we’re in New Orleans, we’ll be back to do the tour in English!

    I had a great time with Mr. Lawson Ota on my French field trip. The tour was really informative and I got to learn more about the foreign influences on New Orleans culture. It was interesting to learn about African American people who had a hand in crafting the unique culture New Orleans is so famous for. Merci, Monsieur Ota!
