Terrible! The tour guide didn’t show up and Viator did not refund us. DO NOT BOOK. Buyer beware!!!!!

Loved it! Our tour guide was amazing, was knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. So much to take in, all the historic, and artistic pieces were breathtaking, let alone the architectural of the timeperiods that seem to be timeless. Thank you!

Great tour, wouldn't have been able to navigate the Vatican and its lines without it. Thank you to Olympia for her wonderful organisation and great explanations.

Excellent tour and good explanation by the guide on the history of the places that we visited. It is a 'MUST SEE' when you are in Rome. The Sistine chapel and st Peter's basilica is simply magnificent. Would have love to spend more time inside to admire it's beauty.

Our tour guide, Daneilla (sp), was absolutely outstanding!! The tour was beyond our expectations, our guide provided superb narration along the Vatican tour. The audio headsets provided excellent connection with our guide, as she narrated the tour. In summary, my wife and I were very pleased with the Vatican tour of Musuem, Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica.

Before explaining the negatives of our experience, I do understand the difficulty of managing the tour groups through the extremely busy Vatican Museum. It is crowded and a feat just to get the group through the exhibits. However we were overall disappointed with our experience. Pros: Got us into the museum and basilica quickly and easily Cons: Skipped Rafeal stanze Lots of filler and uninteresting commentary from guide Overall we felt that if we had left the group right away we would’ve had a better experience exploring the museum at our own pace. This might’ve been different if the tour guide provided great insights into the things we did see, but that wasn’t the case, and the things we skipped left us feeling disappointed. If you are just looking to get a last minute easy entrance due to tickets being sold out, this is a good option, but don’t be afraid to leave the tour group (after returning your headset). We did this in the basilica and it was not a problem. Just wish we had done it earlier.

Nil. Couldn’t find the office. By the time we reached, we were told that we can’t go in and 10am is also full. Said we can take the tickets but it’s not valid. Asked for partial refund but the reply from Viator is that “we refused to take the tickets”…. Let’s be fair.

An amazing tour of the Vatican! Paula was a great tour guide and got us through the busy museums efficiently while allowing us time to look at the art. She was very informative and attentive. The tour was a good length, around 3.5 hours and we were allowed to stay in the basilica once the tour had finished. I would recommend this company.

I can’t imagine trying to navigate the museum without a tour guide and the skip the line access. I enjoyed the tour more than I had expected too. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The 4 stars and not 5 rating is only because our guide laughed when someone asked what she thought was a stupid question, and that’s unacceptable.
