Lalaurie Mansion

The most haunted house in New Orleans is the LaLaurie Mansion. Learn the real story behind the city's most famous serial killer. In public, she was a socialite but in the unseen shadows behind the scenes, she was a cold blooded murderer who took the lives of innocent people right under the noses of the affluent New Orleanians.

Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar

(Pass by)

There are many more haunted bars in the French Quarter than we can possibly include in one ghost tour but often that bar is this one. Located on Bourbon Street it is hosts to a number of ghost stories as well as signature drink called Voodoo.

Jackson Square

Jackson Square takes on a completely different persona after dark. See one of the most iconic landmarks in America when the shadows and spirits come out to roam. This tour usually ends in or near the square.

Pirate's Alley Cafe

(Pass by)

Most of our guides end their ghost tour near this iconic bar in Pirate's Alley. Stop in and try an absynthe, dubbed The Green Fairy for it's hauntingly green appearance. This famous pub was a popular hangout for Aleistar Crowley in the early 1900s as well as an entire culture of vampire lifestylers in the 1990s.

We had Brie as our Tour guide and she was PHENOMENAL. We were the last group to leave for the 8pm tour group so it was a smaller group. Even though we left a little late, it didn’t stop Brie from giving us the full New Orleans ghost tour experience. Our group was able to see some green orbs in our pictures, and my friend captured a photo that looks like it has a man standing in the window when there was definitely no one there. Brie is OG from New Orleans which definitely gave a more authentic experience imo. I am so grateful she was our tour guide!

It was the best experience we ever had. Our tour guide she was the best. She explained the whole history of the hauntings.

Love Neil. Great vibes! Very friendly and joyful and passionate about ghosts. Loved hearing about his beef with other tour guides and Nicholas Cage.

Nothing memorable! Our tour guide talked ‘way too fast’ to even understand anything he was saying. We opted out of the tour halfway through…

Christian was our guide and made the tour an excellent experience I would recommend to anyone. His knowledge and experience really brought to life the history of New Orleans.

The first half of the tour was OK but in the second hour there was no substance relevant to the Tour. The Guide was talking about something which was not relevant and mainly discussing things with the other people in the group and we feel left out. We feel we did not get value for our money and hence would like to ask for a refund. Thanks

Ariadne was our tour guide. She was so amazing and shared a great experience with us. We loved the tour and can’t wait to do more of them.

I lived in the FQ for many years and did not know many of the facts/things that our guide told us, like the Yellow Fever epidemic, why Ursuline Convent was haunted, and the burning of the original St. Louis Cathedral so it was very interesting indeed. And there is the option of a tour still in the daylight and one after dark. No doubt their other tours are good also and it was great value for the money and they took our coupons. A good way to orient newbies to the FQ.

Whatever you do, avoid booking direct with this company. Their tours are more expensive on their own website than on other booking platforms and they automatically add on almost $5 per person per tour for optional ‘insurance’. As soon as I noticed this (and prior to the tours ) I emailed them to say I did not consent to this charge and requested to refund it, but several emails have been ignored. This is super dishonest, and I’d never recommend them for this reason, even if the tours were good (they weren’t). I really wish I’d gone with another company, so please don’t make the same mistake I did.

I did a tour with Ariadne on 05/21 and it was the highlight of our trip. Ariadne is such an incredible storyteller and recounted the history in a way that made you feel as though you were right in the middle of it. One part of the tour that really stood out was our first stop in an ally in Jackson Square when Ariadne told a tragic story and then even sang a line of a catholic hymn to really bring the story to life. 10/10 experience, I highly recommend this tour, I even more highly recommend requesting to book a tour with Ariadne if at all possible.
