A tourist trap but one of those that's worth doing, especially if it's your first/ only time in NOLA.
The pier is close to the French Quarter and boarding was well organised. Staff on board were all really friendly.
I booked the lunch option and the food was OK but nothing special and all dumped on the plate with very little care. The servers, whilst polite, were rushing around in great chaos to get everyone served, so it wasn't very relaxing.
The cruise itself is interesting and offers a different perspective of the city. The jazz was great but the commentary was even better- it was good to learn a little about New Orleans as we paddled up the river.

We arrived at the location fifteen minutes prior they had made scanned our tickets and sent us into the dining room where lunch was served. The food was actually good. We enjoyed the music and the narrating of the history of the surrounding areas.

We really enjoyed our evening dinner cruise. Everything was very organised. The food was freshly cook. The jazz on the top deck was great and we were even treated to an electrical lightening storm which made a great photo opportunity amongst the NOLA skyline.
Definitely a trip worth doing if your in town.
