What to expect
Hôtel Lutetia
We begin our sweet adventure at the beautiful Square Boucicaut, just across the magnificent Hotel Lutetia. We will learn about the neighbourhood we are in, what the area was like in the past, get our bearings right and visit our first tasting stop: an award-winning French pastry chef and his stunning creations.
Rue du Cherche-Midi
Let me share with you stories about this charming street I used to call home. Mystical establishments. Emblematic products. Inspirational artisans. Every reason to fall in love with the neighbourhood.
Théâtre du Vieux Colombier
On our way to the historic monument, we arrive at our second tasting stop to discover the modern version of chocolate bonbons with a unique twist. One of the best-kept sweet secrets event the locals are not familiar with.
Pl. Saint-Sulpice
Let them eat cake. We will travel back in time, share stories about the French Revolution and reveal secrets of the second largest church in Paris. Here we continue our food tastings with the delightful discovery to 2-3* French pastry champions' extravagant entremets (or individual pastries). You get your own pieces of cake, no sampling portion. Sharing is optional. *2-3 as opening hours vary.
Rue du Four
Oven street. Where's the oven? Walking through a cute winding street dating back to the 13th century, we will deep dive into the world of chocolate, understand the bean to bar process, the right working temperature and some of the most creative chocolate products we have in the market today. More chocolate treats here!
Rue de Buci
Several surprises await at this point. A bit of history. A little competition. Once again, travel back in time and unlock exciting hidden treasures in the heart of the Left Bank.
Rue Saint-André des Arts
Strolling from Odeon towards Notre Dame Cathedral, we explore a picturesque little alleyway, venture onto Boulevard Saint Germain, follow the traces of the first Roman settlers, visit an old friend and his charming temple of literature before reaching the garden where the oldest tree in Paris is found.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
