We will visit the monastery having the opportunity to venerate the holy relic of St. Gregory the Theologian, which from 390 AD was kept in the Carvali of Cappadocia and came to Greece in 1924 with the exchange of populations.

Νext stop is at the Holy Monastery of St. Apostle Silas, an important religious monument of the region. The monastery was built in 1926 after the liberation of Kavala for Apostle Sila who, together with Apostle Paul, arrived in Kavala, the first European territory to preach Christianity.
