    We booked this tour sorting our short visit to Ottawa. We had hard time finding the meeting place and I tried to contact the tour operator for help. 20 min later someone called and told me they will contact the tour guide and will call us back. Nobody called us anymore. We walked to all places listed in the itinerary and we didn’t see anyone. We lost our money but more important our time since this was our first visit to Ottawa and we were only visiting for the weekend.

    Eva, our tour guide, was very enthusiastic to share her knowledge and understanding of Ottawa. She's friendly and made me feel welcome throughout the entire tour. The meeting point was not at 53 Elgin street but at the War Memorial (Unknown Soldier tomb). There was a lot of walking but since we had a small group the speed was adjusted accordingly. There was a half way rest for washroom break as well. We covered the main attractions in downtown Ottawa include: The Parliament, Byward market, Major's Hill Park, Ottawa City Hall, etc. I'd highly recommend taking this tour with Eva and Toonie Tours Ottawa.

    Well organized walking tour which covered all the primary highlights of Ottawa. Ibrahim was an able guide, providing historical context as needed to enrich the experience. The weather did not cooperate towards the end but I think we managed to cover all the main points of interest. We were able to maintain the right pace (neither too hurried or too slow) for this tour.

    Nice walking. It was good. Depending on weather of course 😉 meeting near the soldier. Come a bit earlier so you can see the changing of the guard at 10 sharp.

    It was a disappointing tour in the sense that the young guy was not licensed and we were basically walking with him around with just a bit of information that was not even always true. If you respect tourism in your city you should have been more careful and respectful of our money but mostly our time to appreciate your culture. Tourist guides should not be out for pocket money but for spreading knowledge
