I had a great day with Teresa on the tour! She was so lovely, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. She spent time getting to know everyone in the tour and gave us all excellent recommendations for what to do in Porto. She also sent us photos she took during the day as well! The tour itself was super fun and the food was amazing!! Highly recommend doing the small group tours, they are so much more personalized. Cannot recommend Teresa enough!! Such a lovely person - thanks for the great day Teresa ☺️

A journey through the interior of the mountains, where we feel that nature is alive. For those who want to get away from the common places already in the city of Porto, this is perfect. You must be physically prepared to walk a lot and under a sweltering heat, but it pays to see the unique landscape of the Paiva River. In the middle of the route you can always refresh yourself by taking a swim on the river beach. When you reach the end, you will soon forget your tiredness, when you have a good lunch of typical meat of the region. I recommend this visit one hundred percent and thank the guide Teresa for the great day I spent here.

The walkways and suspension bridge were well maintained and the day was really enjoyable, broken by a swim halfway which was a great way to cool down. The lunch was entirely delicious. Our guide, Machaela was very knowledgeable, responsible and courteous. I would recommend this activity and company

The Paiva Walkways or "Passadicos do Paiva" follow the path of the Paiva River for 8 Km providing glorious views and amazing connection with nature. Begin your day with a convenient pick up at your hotel followed by a one and half hour drive to the start of this great trail.
Your personal guide will give you great insights about life in Portugal and our ways and traditions making the way to the Paiva Walkways go by in a flash! The hike along the river is filled with geologic, natural and archaeological interest located in the most beautiful locations. After this 3 hour hike, a great lunch is required (if option selected)! And there is nowhere better to have a great lunch than in this region.
