These magnificent cliffs have been converted into a nauseating tourist attraction, with a glass floor skywalk extending out over the top of the cliff.

Boca da Corrida Viewpoint in Jardim da Serra in the high part of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, is located approximately 1000m above sea level. In this viewpoint we have a stunning view over the valley of Curral das Freiras, Eira do Serrado, the central massif and is the starting point for the walking route of Caminho Real da Encumeada.

The north of the parish is primarily elevated mountains, where traditional levadas (earthen constructions) still function; these courses were used to transport water by gravity to the population centres and agricultural tracts along its course.

Some of his paintings may be viewed today in his former home in Kent (England).
