Passeio de dia inteiro em Lisboa, apenas quinze dias após o final da Expo 98 (Exposição Mundial), nascia o Parque das Nações, com uma área de 330 hectares, uma intensa reabilitação urbana nos anos seguintes, onde antigamente existiam refinarias, armazéns, lixarias e matadouros, nasceu a zona mais nobre de Lisboa. com uma construção moderna, com ligação directa ao comboio e metro que simplificou grandemente o viagens ao centro de Lisboa, para além de local de escritórios de muitas das empresas internacionais de renome. Com o fim da Expo os espaços culturais e empresariais que foram utilizados na Expo, como; o Pavilhão Atlântico (agora o Meo Arena), o Oceanário, a Torre Vasco da Gama, o Teatro Camões e os Pavilhões de Lisboa e a Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL), entre outros.

Alfama, o bairro mais antigo de Lisboa, esta antiga Medina com pequenas fileiras e becos, o perfeito sistema defensivo durante o período árabe em Portugal do século VIII ao XXII. Aqui os edifícios foram construídos de maneira completamente diferente, mais ampla ruas e muitas praças, já prevendo que um novo terramoto poderia acontecer, mesmo com um tipo de construção anti-sísmica do sec.. XVIII, Marquês de Pombal, foi o estadista responsável pela reconstrução de Lisboa, bem como todas as mudanças econômicas e sociais nascidas após o terremoto.

No topo do “Parque Eduardo VII” (rei da Inglaterra) temos uma vista maravilhosa da cidade e ficaremos a perceber a relação Portugal / Inglaterra com vários tratados e alianças entre os mesmos, e os seus efeitos na formação da colônia portuguesa Brasil em um novo país independente. O lugar perfeito para ficar para entender porque Lisboa é considerada a cidade das sete colinas e também o motivo da designação “Baixa” de Lisboa, bem como a imponente estátua de Marquês de Pombal e entender a mensagem que ele nos vai tentar fazer entender.
