The historic German village of Bethany was established in 1842 and was the first major settlement in The Barossa Valley. Many of the original buildings still exist today, learn about what brought the settlers to this area and what they did when they arrived, as we make our way to our first tasting.
Langmeil Winery
With a history dating back to 1842, we visit what once was the site of a trading village settled by German migrant Christian Auricht, this remarkable location is the home of the family-owned producer of award-winning wines including The Freedom 1843 vineyard that is one of the world's oldest shiraz vineyards.
Z Wine

Chateau Tanunda
Château Tanunda, Icon of the Barossa, was established in 1890 and is the site of some of the Barossa Valley’s first vines planted, as well as its first winery.
