What to expect
Bethany
The historic German village of Bethany was established in 1842 and was the first major settlement in The Barossa Valley. Many of the original buildings still exist today, learn about what brought the settlers to this area and what they did when they arrived, as we make our way to our first tasting.
Z Wine
Our first tasting for the day and the only sister act in the Barossa Valley! The wines are elegant, approachable and award winning.
Langmeil Winery
With a history dating back to 1842, we visit what once was the site of a trading village settled by German migrant Christian Auricht, this remarkable location is the home of the family-owned producer of award-winning wines including The Freedom 1843 vineyard that is one of the world's oldest shiraz vineyards.
Gnadenfrei Lutheran Church
An icon of the Barossa Valley with its beautiful steeple, set amongst the significant vines of Marananga.
Barossa Valley Estate
Enjoy a generous regional platter of local cured meats, olives, cheeses, pickles and crackers whilst taking in the breathtaking Paul Bangay designed gardens of Barossa Valley Estate. After lunch enjoy a tasting of wines.
