    Excellent tour to The Blue Mountains. David was a great guide and extremely knowledgeable. Well worth the extra for a private tour.

    This private tour gave us an opportunity to customize our day, with a stop in a town called Glenbrook and to the tourist information center there. We were able to stop at places that were not very crowded and the driver was knowledgable about the birds that we came across. The tour itself of the Blue Mountains was good. The downside to this tour was that there was no speaker system in the car, so it was difficult to hear what the driver was saying at times. On a private tour with another company the day before, the driver put on a head set that amplified throughout the back of the van so her voice was crystal clear to us in the back seat. However, with this private tour, the outside road noise heard inside the car was loud because this was a smaller Toyota SUV. My friend said it was very uncomfortable in the back passenger seat since we were sitting for long periods of time. The picture of the vehicle is on the site, which looks like a large SUV, but it is nothing close to it. It was definitely not a luxury SUV by any means. Bottom line, if you're looking for flexibility in your sightseeing day, this driver can do it. However, if you're expecting a luxury SUV to tour in, this is not the tour for you.

    We opted for a private tour of the Blue Mountains with David who was friendly and knowledgeable and helped us craft the perfect tour once he understood our priorities/preferences. He was flexible and he knew some pretty cool out of the way stops to get some great views and avoid tourists. We highly recommend booking this tour should your travels take you to Sydney.

    We had a magical trip exploring so many beautiful parts of the Blue Mountains. David was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, kind and patient. We experienced mountain vistas and magical rainforests, but the highlight of our trip was seeing the kangaroos. David provided us with so many memories and highlights from our tour. The vehicle was spacious, clean and perfect for our day trip. We highly recommend this experience.

    We had a great day with Dave on our tour. We skipped the big crowds and saw some amazing scenery. He was excellent, and made sure to accommodate any of our requests. This included an impromptu lesson on how to properly prepare a Vegimite sandwich. If you want a flexible tour with a passionate and dedicated tour guide, this one is for you!

    We offer complete flexibility on your tour exploring the areas of your choice, staying longer or avoiding alltogether. This tour is booked as a private tour with no other guests. Escape Scenes has been touring through The Blue Mountains for over 15 years and has discovered a large number of vantage points to enjoy the spectacular views overlooking the various valleys. We spend most of our time exploring these valleys away from the larger groups. Go deep within lush rainforest areas and lookouts.

    As we pass the lower mountains villages, we'll stop here for a quick break and optional town visit showcasing the diversity of the charming villages most groups never stop in.

    Wentworth Falls

    Enjoy a walk into the rainforest as we explore around the north eastern edge of The Jamison Valley. This is the most spectacular waterfall in the mountains and a must-see when visiting this region we'll take a walk to look over the falls and see an unexpected variety of views which are spectacular!

    Optional stop at Scenic World to ride the worlds steepest railway descending down into the Jamison Valley for a walk within the native forest then take the scenic cableway up to the top station for a ride on the Scenic skyway for panoramic views across the valley.
