What to expect
Maui Tropical Plantation
At this historical site will be able to see how was life in Old Hawaii like. Here you will find many activities, entertainment, places to eat, and an awesome organic farm.
Kahakuloa
Here you can learn how life on the island was a long time ago. A small community of around 100 people live here, where you will see their farm stands, bakeshop, and a missionary church. You will also enjoy stunning panoramic views of the ocean. You may also visit Clifftop Gallery, known as one of the best places on the island to buy genuine Hawaiian goods.
Iao Valley
Iao Valley is one of Maui’s most sacred sites, a former battleground, and the final resting place of many Hawaiian chiefs.
Kepaniwai Park & Heritage Gardens
This wonderful park was built in memory of the people that make up Maui’s diverse culture. The Heritage Gardens is a great spot for those who want to learn more about Maui’s history.
Nakalele Blowhole
You will park and do a short hike to the Nakalele Blowhole. This site was created by waves crashing into lava tubes that were left by ancient lava flows.
Makaluapuna Point
Here you can see the famous Dragon’s Teeth. This phonon is the result of one of the last lava flows on Maui. Dragon’s Teeth is a unique rock formation that resembles a jagged tooth.
Honolua Bay
This is one of the best surf spots on the island. You may also bring your snorkeling gear and immerse yourself!
Lahaina
This is the second spot most visited on the whole island. It is the perfect town to walk! Explore “the buzz” and its several dining options. If you are in the right time of the year (mid-November through mid-April), Papawai Point is a very popular whale watching lookout roadside park.
