A chance to explore the port and see the sites linked to Daphne Du Maurier and other literary figures and to hear the history of this ancient town
Charlestown
Your guide will lead you on a walking tour of this small, historic harbour, used as a film location for "Poldark" as well as many other movies and TV shows.
St Just in Roseland
A brief visit to this ancient churchyard, described by the poet John Betjeman as "to many people the most beautiful churchyard on earth".
St Mawes
A short look around this beautiful port with the opportunity to visit the historic castle, built in 1540 by Henry the Eighth, if so desired (admission charges apply)
Trelissick
We will cross the river Fal from the Roseland Peninsula towards Falmouth via the King Harry ferry with the opportunity to stop at the historic Trelissick House and gardens, run by the National Trust (admission charge for non-members)
Falmouth
We drive to the historic town of Falmouth, including Pendennis Point, to see the views. Your guide will tell you the history and there will be a chance to explore on foot.
