    Kellen was an excellent tour guide for our family. He made sure to show us some incredible sights without letting us get bogged down in tourist-trap stops along the way. We had so many gorgeous stops, learned a lot about Maui, and were relieved NOT to have to do any of that twisty driving ourselves.

    This is one of the best private tours we have ever taken. Kellen has a deep knowledge of local history, culture and the environment that only comes from someone born and raised in Maui. He's an excellent driver and we were so glad we chose his tour to explore Hana so we could take in all the beauty without worrying about navigating narrow windy roads and where to park. We saw everything that was on our wishlist and more, green sea turtles, waterfalls, black and red sand beaches, lava tubes, beautiful vistas, rainbow eucalyptus trees, a rare sighting of spinner dolphins playing in a cove and ate delicious food. It was the perfect day and one that our family will remember for years to come!

    This was a great experience and in my opinion the best way to view the road to Hana. Kellen was a great host and very knowledgeable. If you want to relieve yourself of the stress of driving, this is the way to go.

    Super day spent with Kellen on the road to Hana tour. Kellen is so knowledgeable about Maui, it’s people and traditions. He’s also a good driver on what can only be called a very challenging road. We saw beautiful water falls, a black and a red sand beach, turtles lounging on the beach and so much more. Thanks again Kellen!!!

    Tour was great! Kellen was a wonderful tour guide. We saw awesome beaches, waterfalls, ate local food. Highly recommend! We will be back and will definitely book Local Maui Tours again! Mahalo Kellen!

    Hana Highway - Road to Hana

    Tour the world famous road to Hana and chose all the best stops with the input from your guide. Options include walking, sightseeing, photographing, jumping in pools, floating down streams and taking in the beauty of a vibrant tropical jungle.

    Ho'okipa Beach Park

    This north shore beach, with breath taking views, has become a gathering place for turtles in recent years providing a good opportunity to see them resting on the beach. Views from the cliff offer surfers and windsurfers riding some of the island's biggest waves.

    Rainbow Acres Cactus Succulent

    Pass through a grove of Rainbow Eucalyptus and view in astonishment at how the tree bark has multi vibrant colors.

    Wai'anapanapa State Park

    A very common stop for visitors because of its natural lava formations and expansive ocean views. The attractions of the park include a rare black sand beach, an ancient walking trail, and a natural blow hole. The park is well suited for all visitors to Maui and has has easily accessible bathrooms

    Red Sand Beach - Kaihalulu Beach

    One of the world most unique places to visit. The hike to the beach can be difficult and even dangerous, so we take only experienced, adventurous hikers. When the surf is small we are able to take a cautious swim.

    Venus Pool (Waioka Pond)

    A gorgeous brackish water pool where jungle streams meet the Maui coastline. Sunbathe on warm rocks then cool off jumping into deep clear pools.

    One of the many sights on the road around the backside of Maui. Pristine mountain, ocean, and jungle vistas on this beautiful, but slow going one way road.
