What to expect
Bodleian Library
Entry worth £2.50 per person is included to the Divinity school film site at the Bodleian. This is where they filmed the infirmary & dance scenes. The medieval library upstairs is never open to guides. If you wish to also visit Duke Humfreys medieval library at the Bodleian library, then you will need to purchase that instead from the Bodleian library website and they only only permit entry to adults or children aged over 11. There is no age limit to enter the Divinity school film site and we carry gowns for you to wear for photos!
Radcliffe Camera
We pass by this famous sight
University Church of St. Mary the Virgin
Entry is free but currently the church only permits entry if very small sized groups.
Bridge of Sighs
This is one of several famous sights included on all our tours. It features in several movies eg X men, The Mummy etc!
Sheldonian Theatre
This is one of several famous sights included on all our tours.
New College
We also introduce what was filmed at New college too - for example, this is where Malfoy gets turned into a ferret! This tour does not include entry to New college which costs £8 entry fee currently. However, you may ask the guide, if it's possible to pay yourselves for the cost to enter on the day to the college and thus to enter there during the tour too. Alternatively, we finish outside New college and you can visit there after the tour. On any dates when Divinity school is closed, we replace entry in fact with entry to New college.
The Turf
This tavern pub looks really like the Three Broomsticks pub and no wonder, as this is where Hagrid and friends used to drink, when they were filming next door.

PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME:
-
Please arrive 5 minutes early for your tour at our meeting point. If you arrive more than 5 minutes later than the scheduled tour, then you will likely forfeit and lose your booking as it interrupts the guide and other customers, if we are trying to find you after a guide has started and left the meeting point.
-
INFO FOR DRIVERS AND PARKING:
-
If you are driving, then please allow extra 30-60 minutes over whatever time you think it will take you to get here. Oxford is NOT car friendly and it is congested roads and hard to find parking spaces....unless you park at the sign posted 'park and rides' on edge of town on any major road into the city and hop on their buses into city centre. The park and ride buses leave every 15 or every 30 minutes and take anything from 10 min to 30 min (depending on traffic) to reach city centre. So if you are going to drive, then please assume you should be aiming to park your car about one hour before your tour starts.
