What to expect
Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre
Book this tour and avoid taking the stairs up to the Sacré-Coeur; your guide will provide the funicular tickets. Once you're up, you will have a moment to take as many pictures as you wish while listening to your guide telling you the story of Sacré-Coeur. Now that you are walking down the hill, your guide will make different stops to see and talk about: The famous house of Vincent van Gogh, Dalida's statue and its legend, the Pink House, the legend of Saint-Denis and his statue, the "Galette" windmill of Montmartre and how it turned from producing flour to a cabaret as well as an inspiration to many artists like Picasso, Van Gogh, and Toulouse-Lautrec. This walking tour takes between 1 and 2 hours. Small groups—no more than 12 guests—for a better quality experience. The tour will end in front of the Iconic Moulin Rouge Cabaret.
Moulin Rouge
Moulin Rouge will be our last stop to admire with its Guinness World Records for serving more than 240 000 champagne per year, the first building in Paris to have electricity, and the birthplace of the modern French cancan dance. the cabaret has welcomed several worldwide famous artists like Elvis Presley, Gina Rogers, Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli, Ella Fitzgerald Elton John, and The Village People. The tour will end in front of the Moulin Rouge where transportation is accessible. Cafeterias and restaurants in the area. Your guide will be at your disposal for any questions or help required.
