    My husband and I enjoyed our adventure. It wasn't just a fast ride. We stopped and had a lesson on the swamp. I have been on three other rides and this was the best.

    My family (including two teenagers) rated this a 5/5 for an afternoon outing! The guide was fun and educational about the swamp and local wildlife and environment. The airboat ride was phenomenal!!

    We had a BLAST! This tour surpassed any of my expectations! Captain Matt was extremely knowledgeable, funny and a great tour guide! We saw so many alligators up close! The airboat ride was so much fun, the scenery was perfect, couldn’t ask for a better experience. Book the tour, you won’t regret it!

    Admittedly, the first 45 minutes were beautiful, with superb views of the bayou, and a small dozen serving alligators ( I hope they are not packaged with chicken)....2, 3 birds, no more (we understand them, the cumulative buccaneer of all these hovercraft is hellish...in the Everglades, they are forbidden and birds of all species abound But after 45 minutes, our pilot stops 35 minutes to chit-chat with the passengers, then speeds home, in 10 minutes; So, 45 minutes for $90 and for 1:30 advertised, I find it bordering on scam

    Louisiana Tour Company - SWAMP DOCK

    You will check in at the ticket office. There is Snack and gift shop on the property. If you would like, you are more than welcome to sit by the bayou before or after with plenty of seating.

    Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve

    We are located in the Jean Lafitte National Park in the Barataria Estuary.

    Barataria Preserve

    You will be introduced to your captain and briefed quickly on procedure inside of the Airboat. Once everyone in the group is prepared to take off you captain will rev the engine. This particular airport is powered by a 454 Chevy Engine that's capable of accelerating to speeds as high as 35 miles per hour. The boat is propelled by a large fan behind the boat which can deliver wind speeds of over 200 miles per hour. This tour is fast and loud! Your tour guide will bring you from location to location around the swamp and make frequent stops for you to have encounters with the wildlife. Chances are you'll probably have some reptilian visitors. The alligators have no problems making their way to the side of the boat and showing off for the visitors. After the tour of the swamp is complete you will be returned to the original departure location to make your way back to New Orleans.
