    We were looking for a relaxing day at sea, and Chania Sea Experience was the perfect choice! The boat was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. Our captain, Alex, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed delicious local Cretan white wine and a selection of traditional cheeses while cruising along the beautiful coastline. The stops at Gramvousa Island and Balos Lagoon were breathtaking, and we even discovered some hidden beaches just for us! Everything was smooth, well-organized, and stress-free. We had an amazing time and would absolutely do it again!

    The boat we chose (a 10-metre rib) was in great condition and had lots of space to sunbathe (and shade when needed!). Our skipper, Alex, was polite and helpful, regularly topping us up with beer and wine (and a cheeseboard). With these sorts of excursions, sometimes the providers can be a bit stingy, but not here! Gramvousa and Balos are STUNNING. If you’re unsure whether to splash out on hiring a boat to visit them, you definitely should - it was the highlight of our holiday! We’d 100% recommend Chania Sea Experience (which was recommended to us by our hotel). One of the (many) good things about them is that fuel is included in the quoted price, which isn’t the case with many boat rental companies.

    Fantastic trip and Alex our captain was a gracious and engaging host and we learned a lot from him. Good sense of humor! The weather was perfect and he made sure that we knew that the schedule was up to us. First stop at the castle - big hike up the mountain but so worth it, the views were amazing. The Balos lagoon was very interesting and a great place to hang out for a while. Finished up with two areas that were not full of people and a great end of the trip.

    We had a great time! A superb afternoon with the family! The boat is very clean, spacious, well equipped and pleasant for the excursion with family or friends! Discovery of beautiful places and clear waters! Very good salty snacks and unlimited drinks. Alex the skipper is very friendly! We recommend it!!

Enjoy the lagoon at your own leisure for around two hours. Then, we will travel for 10 minutes to reach picturesque Gramvousa Island. There, we will stay one hour and you will have the chance to hike, explore the fortress, and take some breathtaking panoramic views. While making unforgettable memories, taste some delicious Cretan flavors, that we prepared for you and drink refreshing drinks. Next, we need 15 minutes to visit Agios Sozon, a place where the serene atmosphere captivates us and the wild nature gives peace to the soul. The pristine, crystalline waters make it an ideal location for swimming. We will spend approximately 50 minutes there, reveling in its natural beauty and tranquility. Our wonderful cruise will come to an end with a 15-minute trip back to the place where we started.
