Quake - Lisbon Earthquake Museum
On November 1, 1755, a great earthquake shook the city of Lisbon, which destroyed the city and paved the way for a new era in urbanism, welfare and philosophy that spread throughout Europe. Travel back in time and relive this day through simulators, video mapping and interactive technology that takes you back to the day of the earthquake. On your journey, you will also learn and experience some of the great earthquakes in history, from San Francisco to Tokyo. Located in one of the most historic areas of the city, Belém, Quake is much more than a fun history lesson, it's a unique immersive experience that's ideal for the whole family.
