What to expect
Cheryl's Northwest Tours
This drive takes 2.5 hours to the first trail/viewpoint in the Quinault Rain Forest, but we'll stop along the way to stretch and get coffee. Once you are there, it's fun time. Walk the first trail with mosses and ferns galore, plus see a giant Douglas fir. Next you'll see the world's largest Spruce tree. After lunch, you'll be taken to a second trail or the ocean. The trail includes an historical farm that was donated to the Park. This trail is lush and meanders along a wooded stream, with indescribable lush moss and ferns everywhere, especially pretty in the spring.
Olympic National Forest
You'll love the trails, ferns, and streams on this portion of our tour.
Lake Quinault
You can customize this day with choices like walking through the rain forest on flat trails draped in moss. Or walk in deep woods with moderate slopes. See the worlds largest Sitka Spruce and beautiful Lake Quinault.
Olympic National Park
The portion if the park you will see is along Lake Quinault and the Pacific Ocean, if you choose that option.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
