My husband and I totally enjoyed our day. Our guide, Charleston, was personable, humorous, and very well informed. We loved the music on the bus and all the photo ops. Breakfast was a the Maui Tropical Plantation...beautiful grounds and delicious food. Lunch at Auntie's was soooo good! I could have spent the whole afternoon in her flower garden. Every stop on the tour was unique and amazing. This excursion was all we'd hoped for and then some. Highly recommend!

Daniel, our tour guide was fantastic. He could not have been more patient, kind, friendly, or informative. He helped make the entire day fantastic. I traveled solo from Boston and had a nice group of people on the tour with me. We had a beautiful outdoor continental breakfast together after being picked up from our perspective hotels. It is a full 12+ hour day but you see a lot. The black sand beach is beautiful but so is the surrounding ocean. So many photo ops. The road to Hana is a crazy drive so you will be glad you took a tour so you can see the beauty of it. We had a nice outside with salad, macaroni salad, chicken, rice, and drinks. Daniel even managed to squeeze in an extra stop so we could see the giant sea turtles on the beach! He really went above and beyond. Definitely a memorable experience.

I had a great day with Charleston and Valley Isle on the road to Hana! I learned a lot about Maui’s history and plant life and stopped a gorgeous places.

Plan for a long and spectacular day. We were picked up at our hotel right on time returned safe & sound at the end of the day. Every stop was incredible. The breakfast and lunch were very tasty. And our guide Daniel “Jersey Boy” Fisher was funny, professional, and he told us some very entertaining stories. I can’t express strongly enough that you do NOT want to drive the Hāna Road. It’s treacherously narrow and winding and you will miss the views, trying to not crash. Plus, you will have no idea what you are looking at. So, take the most excellent tour with Valley Isle and you will be glad you did.

Very fun and adventurous. We saw so many beautiful things. I am out of words to express what I saw and experienced. Thanks Ivonne.

The excursion on the Road to Hana is a must do! Request Travis as your driver, he’s a local guy who lived in Hana, knows its history and is well versed in the history of Hawaii and its culture; plus he’s fun to be with. He knows how to bring a group of strangers together, on a bus tour and they become “Ohana!” The road has 54 one lane bridges and too many hairpin curbs to count. Be sure to look for waterfalls big and small and the black “diamond head snake.” Be sure to stop at Aunt Sandy’s Banana Bread, buy some it’s fresh and wonderful and very tasty. Enjoyed the black sand beach and swimming in the fresh water, waterfall. Our day is a trip to remember and Travis completed it with a peek at beached sea turtles and a winding down music selection of Somewhere Over the Rainbow 🌈.

Great driver with uncle Joe! He showed us all the awesome spots and took care of us all day! Would recommend this tour

This was an absolutely amazing tour, which started off with hotel pick up, a beautiful and serene plantation breakfast, multiple stories along the way by our tour guide Travis about Hawaiian culture, the most delicious banana bread at Aunty Sandy’s, picture perfect stops (with enough time to actually enjoy it too) at the waterfalls, the black sand beach, (and saw some sea turtles later too!) Huli Huli chicken for lunch in Hana, shave ice (and the best flavor suggestions) on the way back, and beautiful Hawaiian music to end the day and drive back to the hotel.

I would recommend this particular Company and this Tour specifically, to get a great understanding of the beauty of Maui. The trip included several spots to enjoy and take photos. We ate the famous banana bread from Aunt Sandy’s hot and fresh, swam in the black sand beach, had a fantastic breakfast with an incredible view, ate lunch with wonderful Hui Hui chicken, bought some great handmade jewelry, got great history, and as an added bonus… saw some Sea Turtles that had came in to lay eggs on the beach. Boy what a tour and Daniel provided a great and safe ride and made it very a special experience ! This was our favorite tour in Maui!! Daniel was a fantastic tour guide and also a great person!!! He treated us like family!!!! Ohana means family!!!
