    Uneventful car not luxury, for the price paid I was expecting a luxury vehicle. Var was very clean and older than I would expect.

    After waiting about 40 minutes in line, Fox refused to honor my reservation because the name on my credit card and proof of insurance is a derivative of the name on my driver's license. I have been renting cars for decades in countries across Europe and states across the US and NEVER experienced this problem. I have also rented from this Fox location before, which the agent herself acknowledged by checking her system! I have photo ID on my license. My derivative name appears on my passport with my photo. In other words, it was very easy to confirm that both names belong to me and that my credit card and other documents are legit. No way to convince the agent to even look at my passport and she refused to direct me to a manager who might have authority to override her intransigence. My wife tried to reason with her to no avail. Frustrated, we moved to the ACE counter next door. They gladly gave me a car. Fox agents are either poorly trained and not empowered or they are deliberately trained to find excuses to force clients to buy optional insurance. Be forewarned.
