    This was an amazing zoo - the animals are active and the enclosures were large and well cared for. My only issue was navigating and the lack of signage to direct to certain areas. The map was helpful but we went in circles several times. There were volunteers sometimes available to point us in the right direction and they were courteous and helpful. Will definitely come back if ever in the area again.

    That animals were the focus in the zoo and its comfort was primary was heartening. While guests bring in much needed funds and have to be taken care of, prioritizing animals and their conservation is rightly the first duty of the zoo and this is exemplary. The zoo contains animals not native to USA but all ‘foreign’ animals are kept in their natural habitat as much as possible. Unlike in many zoos the animals were healthy and active. Congratulations

    We’ve been there twice in the last three days and I only wish I could have made it a third time. The pandas are so worth it!!!

    As always the zoo is clean, staff is helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant, plenty of things to do, good food to eat and it’s just always a pleasant day.

    Pandas, whole zoo was great. Beautiful Day. Tram and trolley tour worth the time. Great food choices.
