What to expect

Meet your guide at the Mission Cultural Center a little before 11am for your tasty, walking adventure. Enter into the heart of the Mission District, where you will discover an incredibly lively and vibrant neighborhood with a rich cultural and architectural heritage. You and your small-group will embark on a 3-hour San Francisco gastronomy tour in the heart of the Mission District. You will have the opportunity to discover both the local Latino inspired dishes as well as the myriad of cultures that have made their imprint on the Mission today. THE FOOD:     San Francisco Mission Style Burrito     A Traditional Cookie     An Italian Sub     San Francisco Clam Chowder     Locally made Ice cream     Plus, a delicious mystery dish DRINKS:     California wines     Water You will be entertained with stories of the city and its history.  When the tour ends in the Mission District around 2pm, you will have a belly full of food and a greater understanding of the cuisine, the culture and fusion that created it.
