    Enjoyed this trip and the tour guide and driver were awesome! Train ride was more for kids, but the scenery was great!

    An unfortunate start but wound up being a wonderful tour. A couple of days before the tour I got an email with the wrong first name. I contacted the company and was told that it would be fixed. We had scheduled and paid for this tour on March 3 so obviously the error had nothing to do with us being a late addition!!!! The morning of the tour we got off our cruise ship in Holyhead and followed the instructions that were sent to us. We walked by the various guides and none had our name in any list. We asked someone at the dock for help. She called the tour operator for us and we were able to find the correct people BUT there was no listing for us. After a stressful amount of time, the guide was informed that we were indeed supposed to be listed. If this were a last minute reservation, we could understand it better. No one needs this type of aggravation while on holiday! Enough ranting, Vincent was an excellent guide. The trip did all of the listed events. Vincent gave some excellent insight into the Wales economy and the problems about industry in the country. We personally felt that the train ride did not add a lot to the experience.

    1st- 5stars to our guide and driver, David and Alan. Top Notch! Great tales of legends and myths of King Arthur, Red and White Dragons, and interesting tidbits both coming and going. Many stops for pics that the buses cant do. Loved the tour! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    We were many groups in the same bus so it was not a semi private tour. The train ride at the end was mostly for kids. The guides and the bus driver were very friendly and knowledgeable.

    This was one of our favorite excursions of the entire trip. We loved that the tour bus took us through so many cities and scenic stops as it truly gave us a great sense of what Wales is all about. One of our favorite stops of the day was Beddgelert, a charming village that left a lasting impression on us and ended up stealing my heart as It became one of my favorite places from our entire British Isles journey. We also really enjoyed exploring Caernarfon Castle. However, we felt we didn’t have quite enough time to fully experience everything the castle had to offer. The Llanberis train ride was probably our least favorite part of the excursion, but it still offered beautiful views of the mountains and lake. Our tour guide was fantastic and taught us so much about Wales’ incredible glacial landscapes, movies that were filmed in several locations, the snowdonia rich rock climbing culture, and the captivating legends of welsh dragons. We deeply appreciated all the insights and stories that brought the region’s history and natural beauty to life.
