    Trip was very good but had too much packed in. Made for a very rushed second half of the day. We only had 4 people in our group so it seemed strange to be rushed. Would drop the drives of the craters (can’t see them anyway) and definitely drop the candy store in Hilo. Just an overpriced tourist place. Food was pretty good. Much better than expected

    This is a great tour to see 80% of the island and to learn so much about the island. Katie is a great storyteller, she told us about the history of the islands - how they formed, the various eruption events and lava flows, the native Hawaiian history, the legends, the beliefs, all about the various plants, animals, invasive species and native species and even a mini coffee farm tour. It was extremely comprehensive and very professionally delivered. There is a LOT of driving and not a ton of walking/exploring. That’s mostly because the island is just that big! You cover a lot of ground and Katie kept us entertained with stories for most of the drive. Great for adults but my kids (boys 10&14) didn’t stay engaged for anywhere near the entire 11 hours. Great trip for first time visitors to the island.

    Katie was great! Katie had good stories and was knowledgeable. This was an Awesome trip. It wasn't many of us so it felt like a private trip. This was a great way to see the island because we didn't have alot of time.. The meals were good too.

    One of the best tours I’ve ever taken. We did even more on the tour than was listed in the description. Our tour guide Katie was awesome. She is very knowledgeable about the island and explained everything so you could understand and appreciate the culture and the people of the island. She made recommendations about restaurants and sites in case we want to go back on our own.

    We had a great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Lunch was really good and was at such a nice little area. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our day. Highly recommend!!
