    Amazing night stargazing in Zion. Well thought out, organised tour. The guide and photographer we had were excellent. Her knowledge was incredible and everything explained so well. Great equipment and comfortable set up. Looking forward to seeing the photos they took which are part of the package.

    learning about the stars & night skies in utah was good. was unable to get binoculars to work properly to see the show. the astronomer gal adjusted them for me but still had issues & could not use them. several others in my group had same problem. enjoyed the other parts of the show.

    This was a wonderful tour! It’s in a very desolate area, but it is easy to get to. The guide, Devin, is so knowledgeable and makes the tour interesting. Her passion for astronomy really shines through. I enjoyed all that I learned and the opportunity to view the stars through such expensive equipment.

    What to expect

    Stargazing Zion is pleased to host you, family, and friends for an entertaining evening of stargazing and astronomy on a field adjacent to the newly dedicated International Dark Sky Park, Zion National Park. Starting with a brief 10-minute walk to our dark sky location, our guides will then familiarize you with the night sky as astronomical twilight begins to set. Each guest lounges in their own zero gravity pod. These pods conform to your body, eliminating pressure points to make it comfortable and easy to view the star-filled sky. Each guest also has a pair of Celestron Outland X Binoculars to view the sky from their pod. Our astronomy guides will present a 2-hour program that includes state-of-the-art telescopes and laser pointers to guide you around the constellations and objects of the night sky. We also provide guests an up-close view of celestial objects (galaxies, nebulae, clusters) through our powerful telescopes. Hot beverages are provided as well, such as hot chocolate, coffee and tea.
