    Everything from the guides to the scenery, the actual sunset, the ambiance, the information given, the exotic looking horses were all amazing. Cherokee was my horse and I had to receive directions several times because he was a "tailgater". The discussions we had through every twist and turn and history regarding the ranch was extremely informative. I was blessed to be able to make the ride and will be further blessed when I return. Thanks Rosalyn, Ruthie and Brooke you really care about all you do, and those you are guiding. Much appreciated experience.

    My 12 y/o daughter and I had the best time! The guides gave great instructions and were so attentive throughout the ride. It was a HOT day, but by the time the ride started, the weather was perfect. Almost the entire ride was under a canopy of trees along a beautiful nature trail. Then we all made it to the top of the hill with a gorgeous view of the Brazos River. We played cornhole, learned how to lasso, and enjoyed Dr. Pepper ice cream floats before heading back to the stables. They have a small store where we bought t shirts and a stuffed horse. My recommendations are - bring cash for a tip, bring a water bottle to keep in the saddle bag, and take your phone (on silent) for the ride! The guides take tons of pictures, but I wish I would have taken my phone so I could take my own pictures of the beautiful views!

    It was absolutely beautiful and amazing experience.. I adored my horse Dodger And my tour guide. The horses were very well trained. I loved the services provided.. It was worth every penny. I Can't wait to go back.

    We had a great time~ the views were beautiful and it was a really fun experience. The guides, Ruthie and Brooke took pictures of us, made us root beer floats, and just the amount of detail they put into the ride made it all the more special. I would definitely recommend it and looking forward to coming back.

    Ruthie, Savannah, and Roslyn were absolutely fantastic! They were extremely personable and outstanding at handling the horses and the tour. I hadn't ridden a horse since I was a kid and they gave great instructions for a smooth and enjoyable ride. Views and photos were excellent. Thank you so much! James and Wendy T.

    What to expect

    Escape the modern day busyness and travel back in time for the ultimate Texas cowboy adventure. This 2 hour and 15 minute experience includes a trail ride with a stopping point at our scenic, multi-mile view overlook for a seasonal treat and plenty of picture taking opportunities. We take great pride in our ability to provide an excellent outdoor experience; one you will remember for a lifetime. For ages 10 and up. Our horses have a 250 pound weight limit! You must be able to understand our instructions in English. The start time of our rides changes with the seasons, as we schedule them approximately two hours before sunset. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a message with the exact start time.
