    The ship arrived early. We could not use our American cell phone to get early pick up. The driver and tour guide, John was excellent.

    <p>This tour was a great introduction to Sydney. Our private guide met us at the pier and drove us around different neighborhoods. He was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Although we did have brief photo ops, our one disappointment was that the tour didn’t include a walk on one of the beaches.</p>

    <p>This was our first time in Sydney and we expected a knowledgeable guide who would show us what was described in the tour description.<br/> Instead we were asked what we wanted to do and did not see a lot plus the guide was not that knowledgeable.<br/> Save your money and go on the Hop on Hop off.<br/> If you must go on this tour, print out the itinerary and hand it to the guide and tell them<br/> all of it.</p>

    Cancelled by the company less than 24 hours before due to 'lack of customers' in spite of having booked 6 months before as part of a 4 day visit to the city. Gave us no time to re-book or find an alternative. Hoping the promised refund comes through OK.

    What to expect

    After pickup from the cruise ship port, your shore excursion starts with a visit to Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay Wharf before enjoying views of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Continue with a drive along historical George Street to see landmarks like the Queen Victoria Building, Town Hall, and Martin Place, and then cross Harbour Bridge, heading north toward Manly and stopping on the way at Milsons Point for photo ops of the Opera House, harbor, and city skyline. As you travel through the exclusive northern suburbs of Sydney, visit a lookout point in Seaforth for views over Middle Head and the marinas of Pearl Bay, and stop at Arabanoo Lookout for a panorama of the Pacific Ocean and the rugged headland. Upon arrival in Manly, take a stroll along the popular Corso to soak up the atmosphere of the town. Then continue your tour through the leafy 'beach suburbs' and Queenscliff, passing by Freshwater Bay and Curl Curl Beach before returning to the Sydney city center via the exclusive suburbs of Neutral Bay and Mosman. Your shore excursion ends with port drop-off.
