    Unfortunately we were not able to see the Tamul waterfall, which dried up from low rainfall about a month earlier than usual :( Of course this situation is out of the the company's control, but we booked the tour 10 days in advance, and we were not informed of the situation until the day before the tour, when we had already driven all the way to Ciudad Valles from CDMX. If we were given more notice, perhaps we would have chosen a different tour or a different vacation altogether. In addition, our tour guide was not very personable or friendly, and remained silent for most of the tour. For the first 30 minutes, he gave us some facts about the area, but then he told us that we should ask questions for the remainder of the few hours because he had nothing else planned to say. He even insulted our friends with some of the things he said– just not very friendly or nice at all. Overall, I would not recommend this tour.

    The waterfall was gorgeouse, and having a smaller group enhanced the experience. It was deffinently one of my favorite travel moments.

    Nuestra experiencia fue excelente. Hicimos 4 de los tours y los guías fueron siempre puntuales, atentos, profesionales y divertidos. Las comidas estuvieron riquísimas en todos los lugares que nos llevaron a comer. Todos los parajes son hermosos, increíbles, difícil elegir a cual ir, así que si puedes ve a todos!!!! Our experience was excellent. We did 4 of the tours and the guides were always on time, attentive, professional and fun. All the places where we had lunch the food was delicious, authentic Mexican. All the places are absolutely beautiful, it’s hard to choose, so if you can, just do them all!!!

    Absolutely amazing experience. Our guides were so much fun and had so much energy. The hard work or rowing was well worth it once you reached the beautiful Tamul waterfall. Our guides made sure we got the best pictures.

    The best tour I have ever taken, I really enjoyed the time with my guides Juan Daniel, Ricardo, Pablo and Charlie, all of them really took care of me and my family. I really recommend Huaxteca to make your trip a fantastic experience.!! Huaxteca has a lot of experience and they manage very well the tour.
