What to expect
Whitehall
Walk down Whitehall past many historical and important places of the UK's Sovereign State and of Government, many of which were featured in the first series of The Crown: Horse Guards; The Cabinet Office; 10 Downing Street; The Cabinet War Rooms and towards Parliament Square.
Parliament Square
At Parliament Square, we admire Westminster Palace, (Parliament), and Westminster Abbey. - The place of worship, coronations, royal weddings and state funerals.
St. James's Park
Walking past the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and The Churchill War Rooms, we walk through delightful St James's Park, taking in some tranquillity on our way.
Buckingham Palace
No royal tour would be complete without taking in the splendour of Buckingham Palace.
St. James's Palace
Walking along The Mall, we pass Lancaster House where many scenes of The Crown were filmed; Clarence House and, of course, 500-year-old St. James's Palace at Pall Mall.
Piccadilly Circus
We continue our tour along Piccadilly, Soho and Theatreland where cultural landmarks, including some references to Princess Margaret's courtship with Antony Armstrong-Jones during series 2 of The Crown.
Covent Garden
As we venture through Covent Garden, we'll talk about how the royals love theatre and admire locations featured in The Crown; Theatre Royal and completing the tour outside The Lyceum Theatre.
