    Tour guide Dennis was great and had great stories . So was our Captain Skip. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

    Brad was a great tour guide and Chuck was a great ship captain. Brad gave us so much history and stories it made the tour fly by. First stop Boldt Castle where we had a delicious picnic lunch provided by the tour. Then we toured the castle, out buildings, and the grounds before getting back on the boat and going to the Rock Island lighthouse. After some information about the history of the lighthouse and it's keepers we were able to climb to the top. It was a wonderful tour. I highly recommend it.

    The tour was e xtremely well organized !! Brad, the tour guide, was absolutely AMAZING !!!! ( extremely well spoken, very articulate, professional , thorough, kind) !!!! Captain Chuck was exceptional!!! Thanks!!!

    The tour of Boldt Castle was wonderful. An extra 20 minutes or so would have been helpful in order to get to the Yacht House as well. The stop at the lighthouse was longer than necessary.

    My husband and I went on this wonderful cruise around Though Islands August 2024. The crew were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. I highly recommend this trip for anyone coming to this area.

Construction began on Boldt Castle in 1900 at the bidding of millionaire hotel magnate George C. Boldt as a tribute to his beloved wife Louise. Boldt Castle was designed as their summer dream home. A castle rivaling those of Europe, built on the St. Lawrence River, in the heart of the 1000 Islands. However it was not to be, Mrs. Boldt passed away suddenly just months before the completion of the castle. Mr. Boldt was inconsolable and immediately stopped all construction on Heart Island, leaving the property vacant for over seventy years… The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority (TIBA), who owns and operates Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House, invite you to explore our website.
