    This was a fantastic experience for our family of four. The e-bike was easy to operate and made the trip very easy. The views were stunning and the guide, Lorenzo, was kind knowledgeable and engaging. We were able to stop and take pictures, it was fantastic. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 is that they make it seem like you stop for gelato on the trip. You don’t. They give you a coupon to a store somewhere in town to use after. Still I highly recommend this tour while in Florence

    This e-bike tour provides a great introduction to Florence and provides an opportunity to take in some of the beautiful panoramic views from the hills around Piazzale Michelangelo. The bikes are in excellent condition and the guide is friendly and supportive.

    Beautiful ride through Florence into the southern side into the country side that gives you a real feel of the Tuscany region. Our guide was fantastic and prepared us well for the ride.

    Fairly easy ride that took us away from downtown to beautiful overlooks back to the city, and also the dwelling place of Galileo Galilei and a historical observatory.

    This tour is deceiving. The bike ride was lovely once you got out of the city center. My husband almost got hit by a bus that didn’t yield so I would not recommend for anyone younger than teens. I purchased the lunch and gelato option, however this is not actually included in the 2 hour bike ride- they just give you redemption codes to go get the food after. Duh we can do that ourselves, what is the point? Bike ride with lunch and gelato makes it sound like you will make stops to eat, rest, enjoy your company. Not at all what I purchased and of course Viator just told me I should have read the fine print when the voucher was sent 24 hrs before the tour. There were really only 2 short stops during the bike ride. Husband and I went back on our own on scooters to check out the areas later in the day. Overall, fun ride but deceptive and not worth almost $200.

    Piazzale Michelangelo

    Then we will proceed along the route that leads to the famous terrace of Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can stop to enjoy the unforgettable panorama that encompasses the entire city. Climbing once again, you can admire the magnificent Romanesque basilica of San Miniato al Monte.

    San Miniato is one of the most beautiful Basilicas in Florence, standing atop one of the highest points in the city, from where to enjoy a breathtaking view on the whole Town.

    Villa Pian dei Giullari

    It is a small and charming village built along the road that went to Impruneta, which has remained practically unchanged over time. The area is very rich in villas and perhaps in one of these, Villa Il Teatro, there was the theater, where at least since the fourteenth century the companies of jesters, mimes and comedians passing through the city performed.

    Arcetri (Arcètri) is a hilly area south of the center of Florence, where there are numerous historic buildings, such as the house of the confinement of Galileo Galilei (villa Il Gioiello), the church of San Leonardo in Arcetri, the convent of San Matteo , the Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory and the villa where Francesco Guicciardini lived.
