Our tour guide was great very knowledgeable and informative. She took us off the beaten path to a lot of different restaurants and really knew about the culture. I would highly recommend this tour.

We took this food tour on the day we arrived in Venice. It was a small group (9) including 4 of our party. Our guide was excellent! We went to a small bakery for Impade. Our next stop included Prosecco, pizza, arancini. We walked the streets which were not touristy and learned about this area of Venice. Stopped for Aperol Spritz and local appetizers. Next stop, meatballs and ombré wine. We also had dinner, Squid ink pasta and eggplant Parmesan, breads, tiramisu and wine at a small beautiful restaurant with exposed stone and wooden beams. Topped off the evening with gelato. Come hungry! This is a great way to get local foods and have a fun evening with a local that can tell you some history of the area. I would absolutely recommend this tour. I had never done anything like this before but I’m telling everyone about it!

Denys was a very knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humour. We learned a little of history even tho it was a food based tour. He introduced a lot of food and local drinks to us. Clearly explained the different types of eateries in Venice. We were lucky to be a group of only 5. Great start to our Venice trip. Highly recommend

Denis was a wonderful guide - he was charming, funny, and knowledgeable. Learned a lot. Denis gave us restaurant suggestions in the city at the end of our tour too. Our group was 8 people which was a good number. Stopped at about 6 different places. Denis accommodated people with dietary restrictions and those who wanted something different than the planned tour food with no judgment.

We had such a great time with Vanessa! The perfect balance between history, walking, and food! The food / drinks were plentiful and a nice variety - We were stuffed by the end! We took the tour our first night which was most helpful for the remainder of our stay (knowing what to order, resaurant recommendations, etc). Would definitely recommend this tour!

This was an incredible experience. Our guide was patient and explained everything along the way. The food offerings were great. The tour covered everything, and when it was over our guide walked me the short distance in the extreme heat to my hotel. I would recommend her and the tour to anyone interested in the history of the Jewish Ghetto in Venice.
