    A must do in Matera. We were 4 and took the 75 minute tour. From the reservation to the tour, service was the best. Our guide spoke English and answered many questions we had. We saw the areas that have been past movie sets. The sunset from the top of a hill, near the church, was fantastic. Also it is very easy for anyone who has difficulty walking. I loved honking the horn as we zipped by others!

    Francesco was extremely easy to communicate with since the booking, very informative,punctual and helpful.     Perfect way to get an overview of Matera. Our tour guide was very informative regarding the history of the city as well as current facts. Francesco also provided information on local dining within easy walking distance from the tour headquarters but still in the old town. Would recommend the APEPPECAR to start your day in Matera.
