What to expect
Cadiz Town Hall
The Consistory houses were built at the end of the 17th century. A century later, the government buildings were demolished to make way for the first stage of the construction of the Ayuntamiento (Town Hall). The visit is from the outside.
Plaza de Las Flores
Lively square with flower market, bars, restaurants and the city's main post office since 1930.
Teatro Romano de Cádiz
The Roman theatre of Cádiz (Theatrum Balbi) was discovered in 1980 during archaeological excavations to locate the Castillo de la Villa. The visit will be from the outside.
Playa La Caleta
La Caleta is a beach located in the historic centre of the city of Cádiz. It was a natural harbour where Phoenician, Carthaginian and Roman ships anchored next to the channel that separated the archipelago from the islands that formed Cadiz at that time.
Catedral de Cádiz
The Holy and Apostolic Church Cathedral of Cádiz is the episcopal see of the diocese of Cádiz and Ceuta, in Spain. It is a baroque and neoclassical building. Construction began in 1722 and was completed on 28 November 1838. The visit is from the outside.
