Pinacoteca di Brera
The Pinacoteca di Brera is one of the most prestigious museums in Italy, and it houses a number of paintings from the 16th to 18th century. . One of the most famous paintings is a Caravaggio painting entitled The Taking of Christ. The painting was commissioned by a patron of the artist, Vittorio Emmanuele II, who would later also become king in 1796.
Teatro Alla Scala

However, by 1625 it was too deteriorated to be habitable, and was abandoned. It still stands in a ruined state and is now owned by the city government. The Castello is situated on a hill overlooking Piazza della Scala and Via Garibaldi.
