The Doria-Pamphilj gallery is situated in the Palace with the same name, built between the middle of the fifteenth and the beginning of the eighteenth century. The disposition of the paintings in the Gallery is distributed over four wings and follows the indications provided in an eighteenth century document, where the exact location of each work is specified according to a criterion of symmetry and sometimes of typological and stylistic affinity. Vincenzo is a storyteller that transports you right into the heart of the history of the moment.His deep understanding of Rome's history, art, and architecture is truly impressive. Over the two days our group spent with him, he effortlessly brought ancient ruins to life, weaving captivating stories and historical anecdotes that transported us back in time. It was like stepping into a time machine, with each site and landmark revealing its unique secrets under his expert guidance. When we visited St Paul’s outside the Walls, the next day. What struck us most was Vincenzo’s ability to taylor the experience to the groups interest. It has not been the 1st time we have sought the expertise of Vincenzo, and for my husband’s 50th birthday, he made the experience extraordinary! Overall, I cannot recommend this tour guide and his experience and enthusiasm enough . He went above and beyond, each time and this to ensure our experience in Rome was enjoyable and unforgettable!

Probably the best of the ten or so tours we did during our five day’s in Rome! Fascinating insights into the place it’s history and the art and its setting. A guide is a must in this huge collection presented as it would have been displayed 2-300 Years ago. Vincenzo was a perfect guide. Well worth the money- absolutely recommend!
